I Am Worthy
Over the years I’ve often wondered if I was good enough and used to say I didn't deserve him and while I still have doubts, I've quit saying those words aloud because they state that I'm unworthy of a beautiful, selfless love.
Must Love Dogs
My family teases that I love the dogs more than I love them, not true, but dogs don’t ask anything of me. When I cry, their cold noses and wet kisses dry my tears, they listen without judgement and love me even when I’m unlovable. They force me to walk when I don’t want to move and when I’m feeling empty and weary they pour their souls into me.
Prayer and Pandora
Anxiety is a brutal feeling y’all, it sits on your shoulders, on your heart and on your mind. It swirls around you until you’re completely consumed unless you can find a way to step out of the haze that it produces.
